byt is good with hpt though. And he may be partnering up with vince to help take the load off of vince under trifecta.

Yeah but it would require purchasing HPT. I considered it at one point but its way over priced for the average weekend warrior. I doubt vince is going to team up with BYT- but you never know. What's wrong with your car 505?

 

The idle is so rough everytime I stopped, the car would die on me after like a 10 min drive it died and wouldn't start, I tried then after a second of idling it would turn off and wouldn't turn on so I had to get towed to my house

 

I'm game for that. Its a 3 hr drive but I'd like to meet you guys and see your cars. Hopefully get a role model for mine to be like when its all said and done.

 

Last summer for my first meet we went to the track, I had a lot of fun but to bad I was N/A

 

What did Vince say? It could be a mechanical problem.

i havent told him yet but i talked to several boosted 2.2l guys especially tundraboarder hes a 2.2 2007 auto turboed cobalt and he said vince couldnt get the tune right because everytime over 5000 rpms he kept misfiring now hes tuned with HPT with no problems at all

That's weird. So far Jeremy's car is getting dialed in with no problems we just need to log it now and get a final update.

@billy...i would be ready for the logging today, but i couldn't get my clutch bled. my mechanic says my master cylinder is shot. hopefully he's right. also a couple hours after you left the mech finally came and wanted to hear it run...started up fine, but idle suddenly jumped up...it sounded like i put my foot way on the gas. i think it may be coolant, but that's just my update. the part will take a few days to get and after that if my clutch does get bled, we'll be ready to do this

I don't know about them, when you tune a lot of cars you're bound to get a few bad apples.

 

True but ill keep trying trifecta and if nothing changes ill go with HPT

Vince is just super super busy and EVERY time he takes a vacation he falls super behind. Gotta think about it. He's the only Trifecta guy doing the whole country. When cav and I first got trifecta vince had major issue cause we were the first two high altitude balts. I had his gt tuner for like 3 months lol

 

It's like this you got to pay to play! My car had had its share of issues and to this day still had a cel on it. It's all your choice on what you want to do to your car. Trifecta, Hp tuner, Termanator tune,can tup from super chip. You are going to get issues once you upgrade cause you are going to have to upgrade other things too. Stay stock and stay whatever but just rember once it is all said and done to this day I am still the slowest 4 door stock turbo in town. As for the 16th meet iI will be out town. Can we shoot for the next weekend? If for some reason Billy dose not whant to do it as his house we can do it at mine, plus my backyard is twicw as big and can fit more heads here lol. What ever you guys decide lemme know
