This guy has headers, and exaust, and something else. He says he runs low 13's at the track.
btw, you still have your stock wheels? Probably not me thinks, but I'm curious.

I think this may be the problem with my shifter shooting out into neutral during quick shifts https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...06#post4041306

Anything is possible, but an inherent problem with a performance manual tranny is the trade off of smooth engagement and feel for strength. Mine has problems getting into reverse sometimes as well. They have to cut the gears more square to give it more strength so there is a stronger possibility of gear clash. When mine won't go into reverse, I just let the clutch out some to spin the input shaft a little and catch a gap in the gears. First is the same sometimes. It is something I just have to deal with. It's kind of like the rough engagement of a drag racing automatic. The thing clangs and wants to give you whiplash when you shift into first. It's the trade off for the super fast shifting of the tranny. Just the nature of the beast.

This waiting for the stage kit is going to drive me insane! *slowly goes bonkers*
On the good side I've managed to figure out how to afford getting it as soon as it comes out. Return my laptop which cost me over 700$ get the kit and then just do a complete overhaul on my desktop. Just gotta gut the poor little bugger out and put in all new parts *does the mad scientist cackle* bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha *coughs up a hairball*

X2. Since you're making a list Nal, I want a GMPP 572 c.i. crate motor for my Firebird (with a blower, can you say over 1,000 hp?), suspension mods to handle that monster, a 6 bay shop with lifts and a Nissan GT-R. That's all.
