aye, another thing you can look into is the m-62 kit they sell for your car comes ready to go for about the same price as well, can also be found on zzperformance.com

thats pretty much personal preference, i like both but on a auto tranny i would say s/c it so you have constant boost without lag, might be better on a auto when launching....

Out of simple curiosity. Why spend ALL this money on a kit? Why not trade in for an upgrade? The SC's are dirt cheap these days. And for the extra money do upgrades on that? DVS's SC is gnarly. He almost pulls on my TC until I hit the tune and start boosting over 20lbs.

He and I did some races when we went to Cruces for the meet. Our first run I ran my balt stock and we went at like a 40-50 roll. He kept up with me till I hit 4th gear. Our second run we ran at about the same speed, this time with my tune engaged. He had no chance. Specially when I hit 4th gear and pull almost 30lbs of boost. And then Some old guy in a cadallac flipped Laser_blue off (laser was with us). And then Laser and the old guy went at it. Was funny as ****!

Even now I think DVS can take me at the track. He can get off the line SOOO much better than me. Next weekend we'll see for sure.

Better hope I don't get my tax return before then, Dvs!!!! mmmmmm tires....

(edit) CbaltLs505, a few of us will be at the dragstrip next saturday. Should come even if you dont run. It's 10$ for spectaters to get in, 15$ for unlimited runs.

a meet would be awesome! lol but he is right as a matter of fact i know for sure galles has a victory red SS/SC for sale and i also saw a silver one at morning star, but if your stuck in your car (like me), i would say just build it all motor i would like to see what that motor can do n/a.

 

The next official meet will be up here in ABQ since the last one was down in Crucas. When we went to Cruces it was me, dvs, and Laser. We met up with EmporerJJ, RebelSS, and a few guys from Texas. Was pretty fun. Nal and Cavalier were too affraid to go to Cruces. Even though Nal is my neighbor lol.

 

i know i am looking forward to the next meet, even for the next cruces one i will let my buddy know in his balt too he dont have internet though, and my friend carlos will proble bring out his ss/tc. the more the better

 

Dvs and I are also trying to get a Dyno day set up once I get enough cash next month. That could be a fun 'sub' meet as well. HOPEfully we can get more interest in a meet this year. The last meet we had up here kinda flopped

o ya i went out to the last meet in my old victory red ss. not too many cars from what i remember 6?? this year we gotta try for a better turn out. i talked to dave at motiva about a dyno day he said the more cars we get the cheaper hell go on price too.

Na well I'm stuck wit my car I can't trade it til I pay it off but I dnt think ill have my car this weekend cause I'm finally gonna put on da body kit so I probably can't make it 2 da strip but if I supercharge it or turbo it I need 2 get bigger pistons and camshafts right?

 

Stronger pistons, yes. Camshaft may need to change so you need to change the timing. Ask the technical area guys what all you'll need to do to make sure your motor don't blow.

You want to try and set up a big meet, Cobaltls505, you're more than welcome to. Just make sure we have a couple of months before hand to get days off etc blah blah blah

ha ha dont mind rusty he is just been around long enough to know that when meets are set up in NM everyone is ready to get a huge meet together until the meet comes then only a couple people show up. this has happen on more than a few occasions. but hey more than welcome to try and break the trend....if i am in town i will most likely make

Granted! Last meet we kept putting off until after I had wrist surgery and could drive again.
