yea i know what you mean. mine is a salt machine. lol i just washed it and garaged it. hopefully it dont snow for a little bit. but yea whats going on lets meet up. im interested. i have only seen like 5 other cobalt ss in utah. and i goto the races alot. but that is stupid you got banned for street racing. i remember when i first got my car this silver cobalt with this old guy driving it raced me on the streets and then after told me about the rocky mountain ecotec group. so i think more people race than you think.

Sorry, but I don't recall meeting you. Or maybe I did. Were you the guy that I met a Cevron on California Avenue over the summer because I got a call about a Red Cobalt that was trying to get people to race him and nobody believed that you were stock. I know it was a red 05 SS/SC that I caught up with. I wasn't racing you that night. I was trying to catch you so that we could talk. The cops broke up the races that night before I got there. So I decided to turn around and head towards the freeway on California Ave. Just before I got to 215 I saw a red SS/SC sitting at the light which he than launched on green with me right behind him. I followed him into Chevron at the next light. Are you that guy? It probably wasn't me that you raced. And I'm the only silver cobalt from UT in RME. Am I really that old John? I'm only 26. I'm know I'm not the only silver SS too. And I don't recall racing a cobalt ever. Wait, I'll take that back. I admit to having street raced Video once before I was ever in RME. But since I joined I haven't street raced. In fact, I haven't raced at all. I tried going to RMR, but they were closed due to weather.

Anyways, RME is having a meet on 12/2 at 1pm. Meet at Red Lobster on 1300 East on the north side of I-80. John, I would love to have you join us, but I don't know if that is okay.

 

For the lowbeams, the bulbs are size H1. I don't know, but I wonder if that is the same size as the fog lamps. John, can you answer that since you have dealt with the fog lamps? If they are, then you probably just need to order to foglight kits and a kit to swap out your stock bulbs which are used for the highbeams in the projector lights.

Wow! Hid kits at ~$250 each x's 3 + the projector lights at ~$200 plus shipping = ~$1000. That's an expensive conversion, but I think it will be worth it since that's what I'm doing too.

 

yea. you didnt really race me. we were just speeding a bit. but yea that was me. you aint that old. its just that im so young. but if im welcome ill for sure come to the cobalt meet? im interested to see some other cobalts i usualy never see them around, at all. the last one i seen was john's and thats when we were on state. but i will upload my pics of my car tonight when i get off work. i get off at 4:30 then gotta go run some arons. go cash my check and other stupid ****. but ill for sure put the pics up. ill take new ones cause the ones i took last night were kinda dark.

I don't think Video wants to show because he got banned fro the club for street racing. John, I hold no ill will towards you and would love it if you joined us. I just can't have you bad-mouthing the club (which i've never heard of you doing) and recognize that you are not in the club. And I won't wave this in your face. The only person who has met almost evry person that said they will be going is me. Everbody else is going to be strangers to all the others. The more Cobalts, the better. Come on down.

And Cobalt, including you I have 6 people total that said they will be coming to this thing. They are all cobalts. I have, however, posted this meet on the redline forum, solstice forum, sky forum, and hhr forum. Since RME is hosting this event I thought it would be nice if we invited all Ecotecs in the region that can make it.

 

I could possibly make it, but 1pm is pushing it.
