Yea you gotta rev match a little... the synchros can only do so much. Even if I don't get it installed and new tires I might go. I have a truck I can drive until I figure out what tires I want. I already am getting an Exedy Hypersingle from another member on here for 900 bux... thats a clutch and light flywheel so we shall see how that works haha. My clutch doesn't slip too bad yet I have been taking it pretty easy... Well sometimes anyways.

 

Yes..thankfully the weakest link is the clutch disc which blew up. That's why ya gotta be carefull not to over-do the the cutch

 

Was that in the cobalt or in the old 944 you have? I can't wait to roll with my Exedy. Should be enough to keep from slipping under the torque I'm putting out. And I never forget to rev match, comes from riding dirtbikes i guess. Their transmissions aren't exactly bullet proof. I have shredded a few to be sure. I do tend to cook brakes a little bit too much perhaps but they are even easier to replace than clutches.

 

The 944T...learned to heel and tow after that.

Lol yea I can imagine... I tend to heal and toe accidentally sometimes with this car... the pedals are close together.
