so i have just passed the 30,000 mile mark. only thing i've ever done to my car so far has been oil changes every 4k with Mobile 1. what should i be doing from here?

i believe i read somewhere that the fuel filter needs to be changed?

what about lube? i know when i was in auto shop in high school that you lube some points with steering / bushings?

belts?


i bought the car brand new and have decent mechanic skills (i can do 90% of the work myself), i just never had a new car before, so i don't know the up keep.

btw. I am driving an 08 Sport (2.4L) Maunal

 

change the fuel filter, that's the biggest. Other than that, just do a routine PM inspection. If you're ****, you could stand to do a coolant flush, but you could go to 40k and be fine.

 

my s10 have 66k and just basic oil change /tranny fluid. and steering upgrade and drive shaft =p
besides that brakes/rotors. but you should kick the tires and see if anything is outta wack just incase.
