Auto Club Dragway Famoso
So my friends & I are heading to famoso this weekend. We've been there before but for a private event, but never for street legals. So my question to you guys who have been there before, how does this track work/function? Do you have to show up early? Is it categorized like Fontana? limited to 500 cars? Etc...Thanks for the info in advance.

Tried calling the track no answer. I'll try again later. The cost is higher though. A 2 day pass is $80 for car & driver. 1 day is $50. What happened to $20? Lol it beter be worth it.
I'll try to make it out to irwindale. Hopefully I'll install my heat exchanger & honed manifold by then.

just spent the weekend at mc farland. Got to run Saturday & Sunday. Sunday was the best day since the track spent more time closed for cleanning than actual racing. Overall, real nice track prepped real nice. Got a new PB of 12.32 @ 110 on the GTO.
Also ran in to a guy with a red turbo SS. I believe he said he was on a trifecta tune only with everything else stock. I saw him pull a 13.3 @ 107. I think this was 1st time out too if I remember correctly. Anyhow, that was a nice time for a tune only SS TC

Thanks!
This was the last test & tune for this year. I'm waiting for them to put next years schedule. I want to try out the cobalt after I drop in my honed manifold, 2.85 and zzp HE. All parts are just sitting in my garage just waiting to be installed. Hopefully I'll have it done by the time you guys head out to irwindale. Hoping to break an 8 over there.
