As the title says, anyone work @ Best Buy, or any Camera Store local to me? Or within the region?

I'm looking for a new Camera and sure would love someones help on getting a "better" deal under an enployee discount or something in those lines....

I'll make it up to you with some discounts of my own if interested, or help you out in any other way I can help.

Please let me know I have a contact who has a friend whow works at best buy, but I think everyone is trying to make money off me because the discount does not seem like a discount to me once it's exchanged 3 hands if you know what I mean

I;ve checked a lot of different websites.... the ones that are cheap, they are re-furbs which I dont want...

Costco has it on sale for 1349.95 which I still think is high... if I were to get one for less I'd be happy... I really don't want to buy it from an out of state online store do to warranty / return issues and such... and I will NOT buy it from e-bay...

Guess I need to wait to save more money...

out of curiosity, why the 50d over the 40d?

 

Good question, no real good answer to be 100% honest with you... I looked at the 40D, i looked at the 50D I liked the 50D more... it has a higher mega pix vs the 40D but I've also heard its not the "best" compared to the 40D when it comes to taking pictures in the dark without a flash...

I was actually going to buy a XSi but when the 50D came out, I changed my mind... yeah the price is a lot more but I guess I'm wierd like that...
