do what you want. but it doenst make much sense. your gonna spend alot of cash to do this and wont get any of it back. when i was 21 i spent 15k fixing up my 240sx. it was the biggest waste of money. people told me this when i was doing it. i didnt listen, but i should have. instead i could have used all the money and bought a something with alot more potential(i did this in 1997 it was impossible to find 240sx parts then)

Making it rear engine is a cool idea but like someone else said earlier your biggest problem will be weight differential. It'd be cool if you could pull it off. Or you could build it into a time attack beast.

one could always add weight to the frame in the front. i am fairly sure there wont be much of a interior and all unfunctional parts will be stripped. just a guess considering he would need to build a fire wall in the rear.

i just dont understand why you act all big and tough with lots of money to blow towards this car, but you cant seem to just trade it in, or drive it, and go buy a rwd v8 vehicle.

if you dont have 30k to buy a new v8, then you evidently dont have at least that to build a v8 converted cobalt/g5.

just trying to bring you down to earth thats all.

ok. well im just telling you from first hand experience, its hard to convert cars.

i had a datsun 280z. and i put a heavily modified 350 into it (13:1 pistons, roller rockers, aluminum heads), it needed a roll cage for body roll, rear end re-done, needless to say 6k later, with me doing the work, i decided it wasnt worth it anymore. probably would have been a low 9 sec monster.

now imaging a fwd that doesnt have any support what so ever to the back of the vehicle. youd have to redo the entire frame, and im sure it would be 6k for that alone.

what im saying, is that sometimes it may be cool to put your dick in the watermelon, but its just better to get the hooker.

Wouldnt it be the other way around, since a hooker cost more then a melon + the potential disease
