i went down to metal at 14000 miles before i learned the hard way now i have ordered r1 concepts slotted for front and stockers for rear (only because they dont get that hot) on hawk hps

ill do a review on the rotors and maybe a how to when they arrive in the mail

Just had the dealer replace the rear brakes under warranty on my 08' SS after just 4500mi. They were squealing rather loud whenever I came to a stop.

Dealer said the brakes were hardly worn much and had nearly full life on them, but agreed they shouldn't have been making that much noise, so they replaced them. Took him a while to get em' though as they were on backorder.

New brakes now have 500mi on them now and still make a faint squeal when I come to a stop, which is how it started with the previous brakes too. We'll see if the problem recurs.
