only reason i was asking is because if its close to angel stadium why dont we meet there and then cruise over to the track?

mike_06_SS 05-24-2007 07:37 PM

if it's 1k for the day that would be $33.33 each. assuming there are at least 30 cobalts.

cblt12 05-24-2007 07:38 PM

yes sir which is pretty damn doable for most people i would think.

NinjaHampster 05-24-2007 07:38 PM

hell yeah im down for 33 bucks

Thats a liitle steep in the price department, plus willow springs is far enough north that some people from the southland may not want to drive that far.

cblt12 05-24-2007 10:55 PM

good point! maybe we could check out how much it would be to rent out a drag strip for a day or half day, maybe irwindale or fontucky.

NinjaHampster 05-24-2007 11:36 PM

maybe even qualcom?

race prepped means you need to have a helmet and you need to do a full safety inspection of your vehicle there's a checklist on the site, it's not that hard .

i think the insurance thing would be the impossible part. no current plans to do any quarter mile runs till i get axles, it's to far to get towed home.

Jusday 05-25-2007 02:53 AM

well if we were to rent out angels stadium parking lot could we not set up a road course of our own? Just bring some cones and crap. As long as we aren't going nuts i wouldn't see why not. They have street racing events and shit down at qualcom all the time.

Hot Rod Cop 05-25-2007 05:25 AM

Our biggest issue is going to be insurance I think. Any place we decide togo is most likely going to want insurance.

Hey BTW, Jerrod HAPPY BIRTHDAY dude. :twothumbs Enjoy it buddy.

jimbos'ss 05-25-2007 10:51 AM

yah happy b-day jerrod!:twothumbs

btw i checked irwindale, fontana and a bunch of other tracks, couldn't find anything cheaper than willow, i think at this point were only gonna be able to do a drag strip. i also checked lacr and there calendar doesn't show anything for jul 1st.

cblt12 05-25-2007 12:31 PM

thanks a lot guys! its time for me to get the party started:beer:

The iceman is down add me. Another bbq would be cool, it sounds like it might be difficult to coordinate a track day for the next meet.

mastoer 05-28-2007 08:57 PM

NinjaHampster 05-28-2007 11:11 PM
