I will chime in to help you here:
The Beltronics STi Driver is the only one immune to the Spectre series of Radar Detector Detectors that police in the Radar ban areas use (Ontario, Virginia, DC and a few other places I can't recall off the top of my head in Canada). It is one of the top tier detectors, so don't worry about it being a piece of crap like a Cobra.
So if you live in Ontario, Virginia, DC, or other ban areas and you still want a detector without getting screwed the second you turn it on... Buy this.
