I have a flashed xbox 360 with a hitachi dvd drive its works great and the only downfall is its banned from xbox live. I will include any 2 games of your choice that i can get ahold of.

not a chance, they ban your box completely. Its good for burned games though I assume.

 

Wrong you have to install a new eprom Just like the old xbox there is a little chip inside you can desolder and buy one on ebay and resolder it on then bingo xbox live again. But they will detect your drive and ban it again. What i would sugest is like other people have done you take one drive flash it so he can read burned games. and wire the modded drive to a switch and then to the wires on your xbox none modded drive. make a nice little plastic box for the modded drive. Then when you want to play live make sure your modded drive is switched to off and you got live. But be careful because if you have your xbox hooked up to the internet they could still detect your modded drive if you are using it.

by flashing the dvd drive to be able to read burnt games..however if they burnt the game properly and kept up with the updates for the dvd drive you wouldnt get banned.....mines been modded for almost a year with no problems
