FS: Canon EF-S 10-22mm Lens

Name: Gabriel

Location: Central California

Means of contact: Here in the thread is fine or PM.

Description:

hello everyone! up for sale is my beloved Canon 10-22mm lens. had it since 12/07. bought it used from a local professional photographer. this lens is flawless. he took great care of it and i didn't slouch on taking care of it either. i take good care of my equipment because it takes good care of me. the only defect is not even on the lens itself, it's on the lens cap. yes, you heard right, the lens cap. my friends dog thought it was a good idea to chew on it a little. no major damage caused though (as you can see from the pics). it still snaps on and off like normal. please keep in mind that i have also posted this in various other forums, including some local ones.

Price: $600 Shipped

Pictures:

thanks for looking!

unfortunately, you have to pay to play. there's a cheaper way about this though. can't believe i'm saying this on my thread but you can get a sigma lens like this one for a couple of hundred cheaper. marc has the sigma and loves it.

Sigma is a great company that makes some very comparable, sometimes better, lenses

thanks ryan for answering that question.

sigma is a legitimate company that makes great products. if you can't afford a canon, sigma is the first company i would go to for an equivalent lens.

once you get really serious about photography, the lenses start costing more than the camera, unfortunately.

Indeed I do.

The Canon is USM though, and it is 2mm greater on the telephoto side.

In photography, you usually spend more on your lenses than your camera body. When it comes to lenses, you typically get what you pay for. It might be expensive, but you get a hell of a lens.

Here are some shots from my lens, but you can expect similar results from the Canon lens.
