Traxxas is pretty good for a basher.. Parts are avaliable every where and cheap but not my choice for racing. I personally like associated stuff my favorite is my SC 8 its the best truck i ever owned.

i worked at a hobby store as a mechanic and custom builder of nitro and electric everything except planes and helis . the hpi savage is the best beginner and basher out their . its alot stronger than the t-maxx or revo , not saying it faster but it moves just my 02 cents .

You might just need a new glow plug from running rich on the break in.. Do you prime it before you start it?

if by prime it you mean plug the exhaust for a sec before i put the ignitor on it. i dunno if im doing it right or not. it doesn't flood, but will not start. it takes atleast 10 minutes each time.

Try taking the air filter off and put a couple drops of nitro in the carb and if it starts right away you know you prob have a leak in the exhaust or fuel line from the muffler.

The tube from the muffler will pressurize the fuel tank so the truck can keep running.. So when you plug the muffler it builds pressure and primes the carb. You can pull the fuel line off the carb when your plugging the muffler to see if fuel is flowing but i think you need to prime it longer.

T-Maxx 3.3 4908

Its been sitting around for a while, only had like 4 tanks of fuel ran through it, all the aftermarket parts are either integy or rd logics, its pretty much all alminum, upgraded throttle servo and I also have a Spektrum Dx3s that I used with it. I have put more than 1600 into the truck. Give me an offer.
