Xplod amps are inefficient (make a lot of heat) but if you can keep em cool they are GREAT amps for the money.

I found it, it was in my bag of wires and connectors lol

 

mines gone lol disappeared when i let someone borrow it... i hate when that happens

so very true... mine could cook an egg lol i had 4 computer fans on it and still overheated... reason why its not in the car still

also blew a couple subs mine was the 1200w and it was definitely under rated

 

I had two of the older 1200 watt models. I hit 142dB on a termlab at the windshield with those amps and four sealed soundstream 12's.

I had a Ford/Lincoln V8 Radiator fan cooling them.

Ya I have another amp so I need to get rid of this one, no use for it just sitting around.

Haha those amps are beasts.

I have one running my home-made home theater. I measured it taking 25 watts just sitting at idle, so they are redic inefficient but the power they can put out for the price kinda levels it out a bit
