Thumbs up ***exedy*clutch*sale***

***EXEDY CLUTCH SUPER SALE***

EXEDY ORGANIC STAGE 1

This is an great clutch. EXEDY only uses premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and burst.

Increased clamp loads give the necessary capacity to handle modified engines. This is the preferred clutch for

street and track use. Driveability is similar to the stock clutch. Pedal efforts will be slightly higher because of

the higher clamp loads. We highly recomend this clutch and we use it on our own cars. It holds 30-40% more torque

over stock and they are very reliable.

If you are going to be modding the car further the clutch will probably go. Also it depends how you drive the car obviously. If you do alot of racing and you simply abuse the car, and especially if you are planning to get more poser out into the wheels you should consider this sooner than later. Let me know if you have any questions. PM me for specs.

Yeah I had mine take dump on me last year. It kind of suck when you press the gas and you see the rps's jump yet the car is not going anywhere..... but really

yeah it does suck, the clutch has slipped twice at the track out of probably 15 runs. Once it starts to do it almost everytime then ill in the market. Ive seen nothing but great reviews about exedy so ill most likely go that route.

It appears to be so. It does come with a flywheel so you won't have to worry about that.

And what I noticed it only got worse in hot weather....

Yeah, that is correct, and as the post above me stated by Midnight, it does come with a lightweight flywheel.

slipping is when you let it out really slow and kicking or "dumping" is when you let it out instantly for launching, etc. Both are harder than the "quick and gentle" way you "normally" engage the clutch.

Thanks for clearing that up. I do alot of kicks when i autoX or do drifitng to get a burst of power coming out of a turn or initiating a drift. These clutches take a good beating if you like to be more aggressive. Just watch the tranny.... .

Today my clutch just started to give me a little "grinding" feeling when I would let it out a little bit to go, and change gears and such. What do you think it could be? I've had my balt since August, so I'm wondering if that's a sign that a new clutch is needed around the corner.

Do you have a lot of power mods in the car?? In most cases the clutch starts to slip in the high gears first >>>>>meaning you press the gas pedal and expect the car to go but you ony see the rpm's shooting up and not the speedo.

What you have is probably tranny related....or some kind of clutch chatter. Does this happen often??

could u get the exeedy combination without lightweight flywheel i usually race guys up top(40-100ish maybe more) so lightflywheel wouldn't be a good thing i always thouht that light flywheels were for 0-60 or autocrossing coming out of tight turns in 2nd also how much would it be w/o light flywheel combo

Herb Adams, in his book CHASSIS ENGINEERING, says that "..the effect of reducing rotational inertia on driveline parts has 15 times the benefit of just reducing the weight of the car." I love that statement. It's a good read. Basically the lightweight flywheel has an effect regardless of the speed of the vehicle. Weather you are doing 0-60 or 40-100 or 200-350mph. It simply lets the engine accelerate the car faster. It does not create more power but simply lets it come to the wheels quicker and more efficiently. Huge difference in engine performance. I love it.

That hyper single comes with the flywheel combo because of the specific design of the clutch. We do not sell the clutch by itself. Sorry!!! you need the flywheel to make it work. Hopefully that helps boss.

Happy motoring

Well, actually I don't have any mod's on my balt. And it was only doing that the one night, but it still feels a little scratchy to me. Sometimes I see what you're talking about where you said "you press the gas pedal and expect the car to go but you ony see the rpm's shooting up and not the speedo." What does that mean when that happens???

Thanks for all the help!
