Ark,
I got mine today for my 05 SS/SC, installed in 10 seconds and looks awesome!
I tried it on my 04 cavalier and it too was a 6mm, so I'd like to order another one.
I'll paypal and just note it for an 05 Cobalt 6mm, so there is no confusion. But if you'd like to start marketing them for Chevy Cavaliers, I just did the test fitting and its IDENTICAL to my 05 cobalt.

Most 07 cobalt is 7mm
05-06 is 6mm
