Might as well do it! My hood I have is all nasty in the front so this will be the summer hood only. You recommend doing additional clear coating on this or is factory clear coat sufficient enough?

I don't see 40 happening lol. maybe 25, 30 at most. would be nice to get a smaller break on the 25 count just because thats an additional 10 people since the last price break

got ya! We clear it for you, we also warranty the clear coat from chipping off for a year, so until then keep it under manufacturers warranty!

I will definitely try once we hit the 40 mark.

 

Awesome! Glad to hear it. After that one year tho would you think it be wise to throw another coat on there? I'm not ******* your clear coating process just trying to keep a quality piece in tip top shape! Thanks again for doing the Group Buy again!

 

I don't see a point in re-clearing the hood unless it's absolutely necessary. It really depends on how you treat your car, do you store it during winter, do you leave it out in the sun? You can always use automotive clear coat which is a bit stronger then the clear coat we use.

 

Think I might have someone else interested in a hood and trunk! Hellz yea!

 

Why would u use anything other then automotive clear on a hood and trunk going on an AUTOMOBILE?

There are different grades of automobile clear.. we don't use the highest end because it would raise the price of the hoods dramatically. The clear we use is still great and I have had a hood on my car from ED for 2.5 years and no problems.

 

ive had mine on since may and i keep my car outside 24/7 in cali and no problems but if it makes you feel better you can get it recleared...it wont hurt just help

 

So is the list at a stand still..? If so I can start collecting deposit info sooner.
