Beta Test for programming

We are currently getting ready to release our "GT Tuner" service for the 2.4 NA Cobalt. We need one individual who is willing to up-load our program using our state of the art hand-held "GT Tuner". Call for details.
(425)251-0329.

Local owners are preferred.

Thanks.

I'd do this, however, we're on opposite ends of the country.

Right now we are concentrating on the 2.4. Once we are done, we will take a look at the 2.2.

Thanks for your interest guys.

No problem at all. That's the beauty of the "GT Tuner". Custom programming is up-loaded into the hand held tuner and sent to the customer. No pulling your pcm and having down-time while you send your pcm cross country. It's as simple as plugging a cable into the diagnostic port and following the prompts on the read-out. Give us a ring and we'll get the ball rolling.

Thanks for your interest.

poor 2.2 is always getting over looked even though hpt has taken nearly 100% of the lsj and LE5s

It's funny cause the demand seems pretty strong but it is still ignored.

What exactly will this tune be doing? What types of changes will it be making to the factory set up? Are mods a factor in the program? I have a 2.4 and this sounds interesting. I'd definitely like to know more about what this will do.

In a nutshell: increases performance, increases efficiency & , in some cases, increases fuel economy. Mods would need to be disclosed so the program can be written to account for them.
Any other questions give us a ring.
Thanks.

It seems like you are having a little difficulty getting somebody to step up for this. I have a bone stock LE5 sedan 5 speed. Don't even have a CAI on it. If you are interested, send me a PM. BTW, I know absolutely nothing about tuning so I would need help with it.

If i wernt already hp tuned i would have volunteered. But i don't think there is much this could do for me, especially with an aftermarket F/I setup

Vince, Trifecta Performance is developing the programs. We will be retailing the service.

I spoke to Vince about the 2.2 in depth yesterday and he has other projects he is working on. He does have an interest and, time permitting, will give it a shot to offer programming for your engines.

Thanks everyone.

Now, since there are so many 2.2 liter owners interested in programming, what about a header for your engine?

Thanks very much. We did manage to find an owner in PA. If for some reason we can not work out the details, and need another, I will contact you via PM.

Thanks very much for offering.

So today I spoke with Vince from TriFecta Performance (sp?) and we've gone over the details and we'll be proceeding with the beta test. The great thing about this tune is that obviously you wont need to send your computer umpteen states away and wait forever while it's sent back to you. I also reviewed the data available here about the results of the tune on the Solstice w/the LE5 engine. The gains are obvious, and will hopefully net similar results with the cobalt. Vince still needs a few days to finalize the whole deal and then hopefully next week we can get some stuff in the mail. keep an eye out for updates!

Also - Thanks to Dan from Clear Image Automotive and Vince from TriFecta Performance for this opportunity, and for your help and patience with all of my questions!

It was our pleasure to assist in setting up the BETA test with Trifecta.
For some reason the link didn't work for the dyno test results. here you go:
http://www.clearimageautomotive.com/...%20Results.htm

Lots of info for those who haven't read this yet.

Thanks again.
Now how about the header interest for the 2.2??? Any takers in the local area?

HP Tuners or not, I think they just want tuning.

There's 68 reasons to look into the 2.2L. Considering the 2.4L already has tuning abilities, don't you guys want a monopoly on the market?
