is there really much of a deference from factory short shifter other than height? Is the throw really 30% less from oem short shifter?

Will this not work with the SS/SC? I have the hurst STS and it's so damn sloppy! Does this shifter actually fit tightly?

Yes it does.

If you click on the link for it, it says it works on Supercharged and Turbo

Yes, you definitely feel the throw difference. I myself drive a 2009 SS/TC, drove with the stock shifter for about 2 hours then installed our short shifter and the difference is very noticeable!

Thanks for the feedback!

I hate sales like this, it instantly gives me buyers remorse! Anyone that doesn't do this and has the means to is missing out on a great deal. I should have waited for a sale like this, but I paid full price for everything and didn't even get a cooler knob. Just the basic aluminum one.

Don't think just get one, you'll be happy. I'm happy and you'll be happy knowing that you got it cheaper than i did

Yes, I have this shifter and got the polished stainless knob. You will have to shift VERY quickly the first few minutes after getting into a hot car (90+ degree day)...

Couldn't find my camera, so I used my Android phone. Quality isn't the best and sorry for the mess in my car lol.

Also, you were talking about the heat, yeah it becomes an issue. Luckily I have the cheap free Aluminum one that after say 3 minutes it cools down. In the winter, it heats up pretty quickly too.

The way around it is to get the

From what I understand it doesn't get hot or cold as easily.

Hmm, that's going to be a bit of a problem then because it easily gets up to 100+ in the summer, and in the winter its cold as ***** lol.

Here in Colorado it gets to upper 90s in the summer and all I do is get a windshield thing to block out the sun, my windows are tinted and honestly I have 0 problems. When I forget to put up the windshield thing it becomes a problem for 3 or so minutes.

In the winter though, it's cold as **** up here in the mountains, and there's nothing I can do about the cold. It warms up fairly quickly. I can get down my street, make my left for work and say a couple miles later, it warmed up.
