As mentioned, the HHR requires different routing. I'm sure this is the reason other companies offering a tubing kit chose the design they did. So they can build one generic kit and have it fit several vehicles. We always try to custom design and build parts specific to the vehicle we are working on. Not for the best looks but for the best performance. That's why we chose the design we have. Very gradual bends, no joints/welds and 10" shorter than stock and all other kits out there. These facts all equal one thing - superior performance, less parts and lower cost to all of you.

But, since looks are a more important factor to some, we will change the design of the upper "hot" pipe to something very similar to the other kits. We will do our best to bend it in one piece without any splice joints/welds. So far every single kit being offered has either multiple joints/welds or multiple pieces with minimum welds. Even companies advertising "continuous mandrel bends" without welds, have at least one weld in their kit.

Anyways, look for pictures of production parts by the end of this week.
Thanks guys.

I'll go ahead and start a new GP sale Friday after we have the other design done and I can price out the material and time.

In the mean-time, if you would like to pre-order or get on a "list", start here.

The other design will look like all the other generic kits. Same routing as every other company is using. But without any welds and without the extra silicone fitting. You get the idea...

If we can do it without the extra silicone coupler and clamps, it may be a little more for the extra tubing, but we're talking a couple dollars. If we need the extra silicone and clamps, maybe $30.00 more.

Just for the people (me) that want to be sure of what they're buying. The group buy is for the complete black powder coated charge pipe kit with silicone couplers and T-bolt clamps. Correct?

Do the pipes have a rolled bead on the ends using silicone couplers and are new couplers provided for the IC end and turbo end?

Do you have any plans to offer an intercooler in the future and if you do will these pipes work with it?

Have you looked into the shipping costs? Like over-size charges? About what does the kit weigh?

I think that covers my questions.

Your kit does look good by the way

These pipes are routed to work with the stock turbo/intercooler. Me for example I'm getting Hahn Intercooler but using this piping. Hahns intercooler inlet/outlet"s line up the same as the stock intercooler.I'm putting my name on the list for charge piping and keeping an eye out for the CF version. I want to save weight not add.

AS OF NOW:

Retail is $350.00 and includes the stainless T-bolt clamps.

We will offer the following Group Purchase:

$325.00 for 10 participants
$300.00 for 15 participants
25 Participants = $275.00
50 participants = $225.00

With worm drive clamps instead of T-bolt clamps , deduct $25.00.

"That is what Dan Posted"

This will be for the final product of the charge piping.

I believe the list is for people that are interesting in purchasing the charge piping. So guessyou can call it a PRE list

Hope i answered all your questions!

yeah true that. i'm thinking about just waiting on everything until i get the gm stage kit. The last thing i wanna do is buy a mod then the gm techs tell me that it won't work with the stage tune. Such as an intake

Has this been answered or addressed:

What about bead rolling on the ends of the tubes? I don't care the clamp or the silicone coupler, withing a bead/rib on the end of the tube, they WILL blow off over time. Will this be done on the product? If not, you need to re think and include this.

Also what grade steel are you using? Mild steel or aluminized tubing or?

Thanks guys...

Yes they will have a bead rolled in them to help keep the couplers/clamps on. As fare as material I am not sure. A few different idea's have been thrown around but I would bet at this price steel would be what is going to be used.

As stated above me, yes the tubes are bead rolled at the ends. I could be wrong but dan will have to answer for a deffinite response but it is steel of some sort not aluminum.

Not sure why the charge piping would affect anything to do with the tune, as rumored the intake will be there and of course the new sensors will fit in just fine, there is wiring that needs to be done though but the dealer tech will do that.
