The shocks are amazing. They handle so well. They are adjustable, they ride firm, not harsh or bouncy but they are definitely firm.

will they get rid of that load thud I get when I drive over any kind of bump in my car? I assume it is because I am bottoming out on the bumpstops because the car is dropped 2" and the original struts dont absorb it anymore.

i did notice the car is a lil more quiet than it was. i go over speed bumps to work all the time. but i still get a lil noise from my sway bar, so imma upgrade my sway bar links soon, but the car does make less noise. my car is fairly low and i wasn't having to many problems, but i was getting noise from other worn suspension parts.

with proper tools and some experience it should take you no longer than 3 hrs if you are doing it yourself. personally i dont think its hard, you just need patience and some time

The stock struts cant handle that....the piston inside becomes fatigued and does not work properly in your case...soon enough you will blow your OEM struts

BTW the Koni Yellow sport shocks have a lifetime warranty on them.

REAR

Rebound Adjustment Procedures
Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle and hold it vertically with the lower eye or pin attached in a vise. Use clamp plates to prevent damage.

Fully collapse the shock absorber, at the same time turning the dust cap or piston rod slowly to the left (counterclockwise), until it is felt that the cams of the adjustment nut engage in the recesses of the foot valve assembly.

The damper may have already been adjusted. Therefore check whether the shock absorber is in the adjustment position or not by keeping it collapsed and gently turning it further to the left counting at the same time the half turns until a stop is felt. Stop turning then and do not use force.

Keeping the shock absorber collapsed, make 1 half turn (180 degrees) to the right (clockwise). In case of prior adjustment add the number of half the turns previously found. The total range is about 5 half turns.

Pull the shock absorber out vertically without turning for at least 1 cm to disengage the adjusting mechanism. The dust cap or piston rod may now be turned freely.

ADJUSTING DIRECTION
Clockwise = Firmer
Counter Clockwise = Softer

do you know how much these would lower an LS with stock springs, if at all? i do a lot of Auto X and in order to stay in the same class (h stock) i can only upgrade shocks, not springs, so i was wondering if i would get a semi-decent drop since i really should get new shocks
