Eh that will be to late lol. I'm getting new tires in a week or two so I gotta get a 4 wheel alignment because the alignment it's off now and don't wanna tear up the new potenza re970as I'm getting put on...and don't wanna have to align it twice. I kinda wanna get these though...but snow. How would they be in snow? I can't imagine how much these lower. I don't wanna be a plow lol. It sounds like these are very close to pedder drop. Are they about the same drop?

I have specified the drop in the first post compared to stock TC. I have done what I can to explain it. Not much more I can say. get a tape measure, stick a bunch of people in your car until you can measure it out at the trim heights I specify on the opening page, and you will have the answer.

as for snow, you need clearance (already addressed) but you need soft. Look at the rates, at slow speed and low deflection inputs ( snow) the rates are soft enough you will have a predictably handling car that will respond well to weight transfer for grip in limited traction conditions.

sorry...you sound pissed lol. Thats understandable since a bunch of people have asked you haha. I just wanted a picture to relate it to thats why I was asking if its close to pedders. But whatever. ya ill measure it tomorrow to get an idea of where its at.

However, I need to stay away from modifying cars for a little while so I think I'll buy a new daily that I won't mod...Equinox/Terrain...then I'll just build my Cobalt for race car because it's not worth anything with all the work I've put into it and only 81k miles.

Great price.

Hey John, Why the name YYZ? Are you a big RUSH fan? Heard it on the radio today and wondered if there was a connection.

steddy 2112 is a HUGE Rush fan. I was out of ideas for a designation, and Steddy came up with it. Like Sox-fan says, its the code for Toronto's airport. And a Rush Song. Its ok i think

Funny you should say that Parnell. My SAAB wntr btr2 has that feature, most of the time its like 258 wheel torque from the 2.3 turbo bigeco motor, but when you kick down the trans to pass or go WOT in "sport" mode, it jumps up to something like 275 or so for "X" seconds. I dont mind it like that to tell the truth. Gets up to almost 40 mpg on the hiway...

AH nice! not bad on hwy mileage. the fiesta is light and with that much power should be fun to throw around.

So my bad I'm so out of the loop. Whats the retail price on these springs if I bought them out of the black friday sale? I'll probably scoop them up sometime this winter.

Waiting for my house to go through, so I'll have my car in the garage to F with all during it's storage time.. Got that tjin trunk to install as well

I dont beleive so. When the fender lip to ground gets below 25 inches at the front it becomes important. At 26 its a non issue. If you dont have rotated mounts you can not isntall rack spacers as the rack will crash into the rear mount as you raise it. 1/4 inch spacers are too thin to make a difference anyway....so for the moment, I would say no, but when I install the production v.2 on the test car I will bump steer it and let folks know the results...

I have the ottp trans mounts. But will it hurt anything on my car if it needs those spacers but I don't install them? Sorry I don't know any thing about these spacers though.

Oh, good call. I have rack spacers in right now with my Pedders. I'll need your answer as to whether or not to keep them in with the v2. I've got your rotated mounts in right now too. The billet front and the metal spacer rear.

no bump steer is not a problem that will cause tire wear etc, so if you dont have spacers and the car is very low, as you drive over bumpy roads or track the car, the steering wheel feedback will be a pita is all...
