Oh...well I track the car. These are about the same as peddlers and people run the spacers with those. I'm just worried about it because if I put the springs on and get aligned and need the spacers I'll need to get aligned again.

the issue with pedders is that they drop the car more and more, to the point that the car trims below 25 inches at the fender lip from the ground through axle centerline

this old 2007 picture is a Redline on Eibach springs on 18 asa wheels.

the ideal setting for track is around 2.5-3.0 negative front camber. You dont want to run that much negative camber on the street it will be a pita to drive and wear out preamturely the inside rib of the front tires. I would run no spacers, and -1.5 to 2.0 negative camber, and zero toe. I would also slot the strut mount holes to get as much caster as I can, even another 1/4 inch of top strut movement rearward would help.

John can I beg you to make Powell Hardcore Performance top strut mounts that give us more caster?

there is a less expensive solution costs about 400 dollars. takes a bit of time the fab shop in california hates to make them for some reason. Ground control made that one for a Vdub and we adapted it for coil overs. Not that much about 300 but the install and the coil overs is expensive. See all that data recording stuff and all the sensor leads? Testing....

Would that even work on a rl or does the hat fit in the pocket too snug?

Armcclure, I wish. GBM up here actually adapted Cobalt Ohlins race coil overs to an Ion Redline for Mike Kramer and with the good shocks at VIR Mike out duelled Heinricy in an LNF.

If I really thought it mattered I would come up with something but I can get 2.0 deg neg camber just with moving the strut in the stock hole, and IF I cared I could open up the hole some more. Frankly it doesnt matter anymore, with YYZ and the bars we run, spherical controls arms etc, I generate so much cornering load with Z1 and soon to be Z2 tires, its retarded... a little more castor? Piffle....lol

I just measured the stock ride height and it seems like it will only be about 1 inch lower in both front and rear so I don't think a rack spacer is needed.

Yeah its just shy of 27/28. My car is definitely on the struggle bus as far as sitting/ driving right. Hopefully the yyz v2 and a good set of 235/40/18 & 18x8 wheels will get me out of crossover ride height. Im starting to feel like I drive a Traverse.

no reason why they would rub unless the wheels are the wrong offset. enjoy

I'll be getting these sometime next year.

Does anyone have pictures of these installed on FE5 struts on their SS/TC?

I see that they are adjustable and that is honestly something I have never encountered before. Do they require periodic adjustment like the alignment specs on a car do? How do you know if you have them adjusted properly? What are the benefits vs. an OEM end link?
