We have never come across a DDMtuning HID kit personally so I cannot comment. But for a $60 kit, you get what you pay for.

Yellow if you're in an area with a lot of fog or rain. If not, just get whatever kevlin rating you think looks the best.

i know the H11, but the harness and ballast is what I was wondering about. The PnP or the relay harness or the 35w, 50w, or slim ballast.

depends on what you want to do. pnp is easier to install relay is safer and really the way it should be done (but harder to install) slim ballast is normally easier to install in small areas but for balts we have quite a bit of room so not necessary. 50w is going to be brighter but i wouldnt trust em in halos... melt the lens

ask 3bspec with their kits they have had no one in the cobalt world complain of melting harnesses even with the 50w ballast, the higher end cars are the ones that are having problems melting harnesses and headlights etc. not us. buy a quality kit and plug and play will work just fine. its simpler to install or uninstall if needed. but remember if you have a 07+ u'll need to remove your drl fuse.

I do know for the 07-08 that the DRL fuse does need to be removed for HIDs to work properally, as for 09, I am unsure.

just got my 8ks in the mail today, gonna install tomorrow morning

yes in stock projectors, and yes i will aim them down if a problem persists...

Ive read through, and still need a question answered...

I got the 9007 kit and he sent me a relay harness too... there is no plug and play "kit" just wires from the bulb that loop back into the stock housing and the ballast. Is this what plug and play means? Is it safe to just run the ballasts into the stock light housing? No relay required? Ballasts not connected to anything but the bulb? sorry if im confusing just trying to figure everything out

The easiest way to do it is ignore the relay harness. That is the bundle of wires that came outside of the box. The plug and play harness are the ones with the bulb. Use that it is easier.

up up up
