Just got mine installed, 6000K isn't as bright as I thought it would be, but still puts more light on the road than my old halogen.

Are these things supposed to 'buzz' or 'hum' slightly?

Yeah, thats normal. Its the ballast that makes a little noise. Even the OEM HID cars make some noise.

Are they OEM style black housing projectors or projector style black housing projectors? If they are OEM style then you'll need a 9007 kit. If they are projector style you'll need either an H1 or H7 bulb depending on which type of aftermarket projector you have. To find out, you can either pull the bulb and look at the base of it, it will say what it is or you can find a picture and post it up and we'll be able to see what generation projector it is

You'll be seein' your HIDs before you know it partner!

Since they are in projectors, they do not seem as bright, because the light is more focused. Also the ballast are supposed to hum, that is normal.

What is the brightest temperature bulb to use, without going yellow?

How much would it cost for just the bulbs to replace the 6000K I already have?

Just drove home from a friends house tonight that lives out in the middle of nowhere, and it was almost scary driving on these.

Really, between 4300k and 12000k, they are all very bright. Here is an example

But for the most usable light you'd want 4300k-5000k. Also the cost for just a pair of bulbs in 6000k is $60 shipped for a pair.

YAY!! Just received my HID's in the mail today!!
Gonna hook them up tonight BUT I got a little confused looking at the lights themselves. Why 3 plugs for the bulbs? I figured that there would only be one?

what kit did you get? There are two plugs for the bulbs and one that plugs into the ballast itself.

The free lights were for those who ordered their kit in May. If you placed your order in June, you would not receive the free lights.

You don't need to use that harness in the relay setup, I just taped them up and out of the way. You will only need the two plugs that are not circled.

Refer to the relay setup diagram in the instructions
