ok so looking at the site i noticed you can get 50w ballasts which will drop the color temp 1000 degress. does getting the 50w ballasts drop the life span of the bulb at all or will it be able to handle the extra watts just fine?

The life span for the 50w ballast is the same as the 35w ballast. The only difference is light output is greater for the 50w ballast and the bulbs kevlin rating drops about 1000k like you already mentioned / know.

ok so im assuming that the 50w ballast comes with a 50w bulb not a 35w correct? and i think this may have been asked before, so i apologize if it has, but if i order the 9007 50w, that also comes with the halogen high beam too?

The bulbs do not have a wattage. The ballast create the wattage. Also if you order the 9007 50w kit it does come with a halogen high beam.

im a little confused... my cobalt only has one bulb per light, and its the low and high beam.... unless im really too rattled right now lol

so if i get the singles... and the HID light comes out of the normal hole, when does the other bulb go.... or do i need to change my headlights...?

im very interested but need some information please

here's a pic of a 8000K kit on my 2.2L 2007 Pontiac G5:

Not exactly plug-n-play...had to drill out back of housing so they would fit..wiring was pretty confusing then friends helped MAJORLY...couldn't have done it w/o them.

Yup, the Cobalt uses a 9007 for the high and low beam. Basically our single xenon kits have a xenon low beam with a halogen high beam on the same bulb base. The halogen high beam isn't so great compared to the xenon low beam but it gets to point across when you flash someone. Hope that helps clear it up for ya.
