Chances are it ended up in your SPAM folder or your Mail Server rejected out email because of high settings you may have for your SPAM filter. If you have a YAHOO email address for some stupid reason it takes a VERY long time to get emails from us... go figure...

UPS Ground takes apx 1-5 business days depending on your location.

Most of the east coast is about 4-5 business days depending on your exact location.

quick question, does anyone know what that little c-clip that comes with the hurst is for?

 

It goes on the stick. If you look closely, you will see a groove on the stick where the clip needs to go on. It holds the black pivot ball from moving up / down (from what I recall)

oh, thanks, haha i didn't put it on, but i used the loctite and torqued that **** down so i think it should be ok.

 

I did the same thing. Except i drilled the hole in the pivot ball out and tapped it for a new 5/16 set screw. The 1/4 set screw always came lose so you could twist the whole shaft. 5/16=

...Because today the plastic top cover fell off my stock shifter! It's a little uncomfortable.

The B&M knob looks bigger and more comfortable, but doesn't look to have a bend to bring it back a little like the hurst. I need that since I'm tall and sit farter back. So this one wins out. Especially on the looks too.

 

that clip is used to support the black ball that so it does not fall down

 

Anyone have any problems with the C clip and or the set screw? Also is the B&M the same way?

i didn't put the clip on, although if i were to go back i would. if you use loctite, and the proper allen key, you can really crank that set screw down and mine feels like one solid piece. i love it, and the reverse lockout works great.

incredibly easy install too, just make sure you mark the cable before you pull the gray clip off, saves you having to adjust everything.
