New Stainless Steel Header Sale...

We are happy to release our new 304 stainless steel 4 into 1 mid-length header with choice of 2 1/2" or 3" down-pipe (NO cat converter) or choice of 2 1/2" or 3" down-pipe (WITH cat converter). This is identical to our popular steel mid-length header.

Materials & details:
3/8" thick 304 stainless steel header flange
16 gage (.065) wall 304 stainless steel tubing
304 stainless steel machined collector
3" gasketless ball-socket flange
all clamp marks polished
machined flange with full welds on both sides of the flange
Header is 100% TIG welded using stainless steel rod.

Here's a couple pictures:

All parts to build 10 sets of 1 3/4" primary tube 4 into 1 mid-length headers are in stock awaiting assembly and finish work.

We do all of our own custom fabrication in-house.

Retail prices:

4 into 1 mid-length header with 3" down-pipe (WITH ceramic core cat converter) - $634.79

OK, here's the sale break-down. We will only offer the following prices for this first run of 10 stainless headers.
This is NOT a "group purchase" and NO minimum is required to order. Just order when you are ready.

4 into 1 mid-length header only - $346.85.

4 into 1 mid-length header with 3" down-pipe (WITH cat converter) - $542.33.
4 into 1 mid-length header with 3" down-pipe (WITH ceramic core cat converter) - $467.33.

Extra O2 bung for wide-band available for $20.00.
CHROMEX ceramic coating is $155.00 regardless of orders as we send the headers out and have no control over prices.

Up-grade the down-pipe from aluminized tubing to 304 stainless for $70.00.
Down-pipes are custom built specifically to each customers preferences.

All major credit cards, PayPal and money orders are accepted.
Payment plan through August 31st available.
$50.00 deposit required once the minimum interest has been shown.

If you don't want to wait for others to show interest, just call us to place your order.

Thanks again to everyone on this forum. You have all been great and are the reason we decided to move forward with the stainless steel header.

We believe our stainless steel header to be superior to all others. We hope you agree.

Since our stainless header is identical in design to our steel header, the power gains will be identical: 15 HP and 15 ft./lbs. to the wheels. Actually, the stainless header may perform a little better considering the tubing is thinner than the steel tubing so the inside diameter of the tube is larger. Another benefit to our stainless header is it weighs a little less. So shall we sign you up?

Thanks for your comments.

Hmmm, I'm interested, but the header combo is significantly more expensive than other products. Am I correct in thinking that without the group buy, a stainless header with stainless DP and O2 bung/plug would run $800 plus shipping?

You have a PM.

Without the sale price:
Up-grading the down-pipe to stainless and adding an extra stainless O2 bung brings the retail price to $686.12 for the header and cat-less down-pipe plus shipping. With a hi-flow converter you would be at roughly $800.00. Please keep in mind when comparing our products to others, our hi-flow converter is a metallic core substrate converter NOT the old school style ceramic cores like everyone else is offering. Give me some price comparisons to equivalent stainless header/DP packages, and I'd be happy to take a look. But they must be an apples to apples comparison. In the mean-time I will take a look at the cheaper Magnaflow style converters. If this is the way to reduce the cost to match other companies, and this community doesn't mind sacrificing performance, we can do that.

Yep, that's what I figured. I'm interested in the 3" stainless header with stainless DP (no cat) and O2 bung/plug. Count me as #1.

Tempting considering the ZZP might be falling through. Do you have any clips of your combo on an SS/SC 2.0L?

I up-dated pricing on the 1st post to reflect using the ceramic core cat converters, like every other company is using. Knock quite a bit off the prices.

The only way to reduce the price any more is to compromise our finish work and build quality. And we are NOT going to do that. Our products are pretty much accepted as the BEST in the industry in every market we have entered. It would be foolish to tarnish our own reputation for quality just to make a buck.

Take a look and let me know what you all think.

We do not use a flat flange on our header. We would just send you a universal 3" female socket with ball flange. No problem.

Give us a call if you would like to order.

Thanks.

The Pace Setter header requires it's own down-pipe like every other mid-length header. The factory down-pipe, nor our factory replacement, nor our header down-pipe will work.

I know a couple people from the ZZP group buy are looking at the CIA one, but are concerned about the price. Keep this in mind;

Then I went to the track and busted the flex pipe off the ZZP Midlength Combo I got like 2 weeks ago!
It costed him $200 to have a new flex pipe welded in. Spend a little more now, save a lot later when you don't have to replace a flex pipe.

Thanks for the support.

Also, I believe we are less expensive at the 10 lot pricing. And our primary tubes are longer, have less bends, our collectors are longer and, I'm proud to say, are PERFECTLY formed with no defects. I'll post some high resolution links shortly to show what I am talking about.

Thanks again.

The number hasn't changed. However, due to recent events and the fact I have been contacted by several forum members via email or PM, and brought in stainless material, lets go ahead and convert this group purchase to a simple sale. Best price offered above for the best stainless header available. And, we here at Clear Image Automotive offer a "Lifetime Warranty" on our products. This will be a one time deal on the stainless header. We will NOT offer the above prices again. Our headers are built to last forever, offer longer primary tubes, a perfectly formed, heavy wall, 304 stainless full length collector and workmanship and finish work above and beyond anything else available. I'm not trying to sound arrogant. I'm just confident in our workmanship.

Thanks again everyone.
