While I'll admit it is a quality piece, I had an issue with mine that should have never happened with a $400 downpipe.
Random uses a cheap inner braided flex section that ends up warping from the hot exhaust gasses. The inner braiding ended up warping down to a 1" hole that severly choked off my exhaust flow. In turn, this caused my car to run super rich, and dumped un burnt fuel into the cat. The cat ended up "slipping" within its housing due to over heating. The cat was not severly damaged, but Random would not replace it under warranty. They claimed my tune was off. I fought with them back and forth. I even sent them photos of their warped flex section. They claimed no one else had any issues with their flex sections. I told them you would never know there was an issue unless you removed the downpipe, or had a wideband to monitor AFR. I asked them to at least replace the flex section with an interlocking flex section, and I'll monitor the cat for any issues. They agreed, and replaced the flex section under warranty. This would have been avoided if they used the better flex from the start.
I just wanted to point this out. I'm not knocking the product or your sale. Just providing some real world facts from testing.

The flex in the photo was revised you are correct. The flex in photo is almost identical to the flex on the lsj's stock downpipe. That was revised to the braided flex section I ended up having issues with. I purchased my Random Tech Downpipe through you about 1.5 years ago.
Since they are made to order, I'm sure you would be able to request an interlocking flex section as an option over their standard braided flex section.
Other than the flex section, it is an awesome downpipe.... Nice welds, quality stainless steel, etc.
