This is much higher than the plastic peice it will not hit until you are hitting the front bumper. Unless you like running over curbs. Anyone who can drive a lowered car properly wil have no problems with this.

it's not so much a scoop, as level or a smidge higher than the lip on the SC/TC's

How badly will this interfere with the aftermarket H/Es many members have? My C/A one hangs down slightly lower than the lip, so that would be a problem I assume, but its pretty far back, so it could still work.

I'm guessing that's what the slot is for? But I could be wrong.

Everyone mounts their HE in different locations so creating a universal divider would be impossible. Further reason to make one yourself if you have a HE.

This WILL make the car more stable at speed as well. Basic aerodynamics, the air under the car is moving faster then the car stays glued to the road. My M has this exact same type thing but all the way to the rear end and I can tell you that my car holds the road like its on rails all the way to 175mph.

This is a great idea for you guys!

so this is a great idea, now how about a diffuser for the rear something like you see in forza 2 ha ha id love to have something like that under my car and then you could do package deals with both pieces. this is a cool idea, i like the way you think

i think a rear diffuser is also a good idea, It would be nice to have it so you couldn't really see it like the front diffuser. You could use the vents in the stock body kit to move the air through from the diffuser.

Thease are all things that we are looking at but they may never get built. Everyone loves to see thease cool things but yet noone seems to want to buy them. It is very expensive to R&D this stuff and then have nobody buy it.

rebel you guys are onto something here... i gotta see what you can come up with for the rear end there si soo much empty space for low pressure to build up ? a ha under the car near the fuel pump and all... hell you could even vent air to the rear brakes with something like this so help those out too. man it could be soo cool

whats good about this product is that it should work on all models of cobalt and redline so you have a bit more of an audience, and how hard is it to bend a pice of aluminum and drive down the street with hptuners on. you guys are obviosly good with metal because i have a metal product from you, and hptuners makes the world easy for everyone who has it to see whats going on and how its going

ha ha now ive given you the design its good to hold the ass end in up to an average speed of 220 so it should hold the cobalt in place ha ha ha

Sort of like the sway bar that you bolted to the exising suspension. I guess you can make a case for anything!

i asked how to buy it if its not on the website, but you didn't respond. Also, the the first set of pics of it on the car doesn't have the scoop, but the second set of pics do have the scoop? Any reason why that changed after you first gave out the results?

This is not on the website yet www.rebelautoworxs.ca, This is for the group buy on this site. If you want to purchase PM us your paypal address and we will send you a bill. Like it says on the first post.

I have some pics of how the final product looks on the car! You cant really notice it unless you look for it. The full splitter however will be very visible. PLease excuse my filthy car I have been far to bussy to wash it in far to long

This is it. What you get will look just like this. The R&D is done. It works I have the first on my car and have done logs and it drops temps. I put up some old pics because there were all I had at the time but now you have pics of the finished model.

The cutout is 22"x3" and it is at the same level as the bottom of the rads and the front lip. So there is a good chance that it will fit most FMHE's.
