Exactly but everyone wants it NOW, NOW, NOW. I can see why company's lose interest in Cobalt's. It's like if one thing doesn't work perfect it's no good. There's going to be delay's for a new product when the ompany is commited to releasing high quality parts. As Adam said all throughout this thread, they want these to be the best set of coilovers available for the Cobalt. Not just something that works. You complain about customer service. Kind of sounds like they're going way above and beyond to me.

That's right. Let's get the best product the first time. It's great to know the president of stance is getting his hands in on this and making sure they deliver the best

Thank you redssna & slowswap. I really appreciate it.

I need David to explain everything but basically he does not feel that the product is yet finished up to his 110% percent liking.

He wants a perfect product....and he understands waiting sucks. But trust me guys...no one will be dissapointed.

I really wish we can stance can just release a coilover for any car out there like BC...but the quality and driving performance is there with the stance....others fall short.

I will push David to get a statement out for you guys ASAP!!!

sorry its taking so damn long guys!!

So is one of the things getting fixed the fact that the strut shaft is only secured by about 3 threads on the upper nut??? Is that a part problem or an install problem?

I noticed that even way back when the first pics came out, I chalked it up to them being bench models. It clearly appears as though the shaft extands only half way through the nut.

The nut has a slower shoulder the fits inside the top plate. The nut was actually twice the visible height.

As slowswap said the nut has a shoulder on it that fits down into the plate so in reality about 3/4's of the nut is threaded on. I have had no issue's with that setup.

the "issue" was to be able to really slam the rear with having lots of room to adjust up and down basically. That is the next concern as far my knowledge. So in a way not an issue with the coilovers just an issue perhaps for those that really want to slam and still be able to drive on them the same way as if the car was not "slammed". This still can be achieved now pretty well but one of the bottom collars as seen on the pics earlier was at its most lowest position.

So that kink will be taken care of and gone.

I am trying to get more updates everyday. David the owner has been a little dificult to get a hold off lately with way too much that he tries to do at once...

My goal is to get a hold of him and have him post up everything here and answer all questions directly.

ha ha...yeah i have been trying to get together with that guy for like 2 weeks now. They just opened a new section of the company with full coilover corner-weight machine...some sweet stuff. And a nice new alignment machine.

Those guys are soooo understaffed!!!

Quick update. After doing the CAB's this weekend I took the Balt for a nice cruise tonight. My buddy was riding along with me and the look on his face was priceless after flying around some of the corners. Thruway ramps are a blast. It just grips and won't let go. The car feels incredibly planted at high speeds around corners. I'm not even done with suspension/handling mods yet and I'll be upgrading tires too. Can't wait, awesome product so far. I'm sure the finished set will be even better!!!!

No problem. If people were closer I'd give them rides for sure. I almost wanna drive a stock one now to see how far it's really come.
