yea, i'm not paying almost $650 for a header..... oh... wait, just looked at it again. first time i checked it, it was stupid expensive.

i missed this gb too. my CIA header/dp is gettin made right na! should be here in a few weeks.

Don't get me wrong, I respect their work. In fact, they are still my favorite vendor. This GB just didn't go over well.

1. Date was wrong
2. Date changed to "TBD"
3. TBD actually meant an extra 2 weeks (even though most of us said we'd stay in through september but not december, we got no estimate whatsoever)
4. People get their refunds assuming TBD meant it'd be a while. Others wait
5. Still no estimate so they get a refund.
6. Next couple days "It'll be ready soooooooon!!!!!"
7. Ok, can we get back in since you just pulled this out of your ass? Answer: I'll get back to you next week
8. Never answers the question

Obviously they want our money, douchebag. This GB just didn't go over well.

 

I'm sorry you missed the boat.....sucks for those who missed out. I didn't get a refund or anything because I didn't need it right away and could wait it out. I think it was a huge miscommunication on both sides. But I am sure there will be another gb in the future.

 

Yea, I just wish Zooomer would have given an honest answer.

 

The $650 was retail, which is somewhat comparable to ZZP's retail price (if I remember right). Keep in mind they're only doing the sale price for the first 10 headers, so if you want one I'd PM Dan and see how many are spoken for. He's really good about getting back to people in a timely manner.

 

I posted updates exactly as fast as I could. I cannot always control the speed at which parts will be made or developed/tested. People were screaming for updates but I didn't have them. When i did, I posted. At times the only update I could give was "I don't know but I can refund if you want" I was always the customers choice and I always gave all of the information that I had at the time.

We will consider doing another GB once this is all said and done.

 

So Ive been deployed for the last month. Is the SS still being made? I have not asked for a refund since I wasnt in a hurry to get mine. Zoomer please let me know if this is a no go now. If so I would like a refund, if not, I will wait it out and have no issues with that. thanks.

 

I think he said they'd be shipping next week. I may be wrong but I do know you don't have much longer to wait.

 

I ended up getting the Clear Image setup, offered at the same price the ZZP group buy was. They are already shipping.........

Yea I ordered my vibrant combo off TTR last night around midnight and it shipped this morning. That's what happens when you don't have to manufacture them first, though. It sucks trying to estimate when you haven't even begun production.
