That's why I went with the ceramic some time ago. The stainless will last longer but you will still need to wrap them due to the heat when the car is parked after a drive. I have my stock heatshield back on now but it still allows the heat to enter the engine compartment after a drive. I'm wrapping mine this evening with DEI product.

I got my refund back today also. He gave me 20 percent off on a few other items. Unfortunatly unforseen problems arrived at his end. I was looking forward to the DP/Headers and hope when he gets the ball rolling again, perhaps a GB for the people that lhad to opt out on this one.

 

You don't HAVE to opt out now, you just have to wait longer. If you want to buy them anyway just stick it out

 

I think I might ask for my money minus deposit back until they are ready, then I will pay him again. I could be earning interest in my money market account.

 

Sounds like a good idea if he promises to honor the GB price when they are ready

 

Its one thing waiting if there is some sort of estimate, one month, two weeks, two months...


Its another when the answer is there is no timeline at all............and very little to almost no communication on the forums regarding it to begin with..........

No don't get me wrong. i'm not telling you it's better or worse to wait, I'm just saying you do have the option. Zoomer has been good so far but his lack of communication is really the only thing that sets him back in my eyes.

 

*sigh* Well I need some money to get my retros so I guess I'm going to have to ask for a refund This is so lame. Hopefully Zoomer will honor the GB price another time. O well, good luck to those of you who have decided to stick it out.

 

Sigh, well personally I would definitely wait it out if he can give me an approximate time of when they will be done and sent out. If I can't get that answer then I might have to just get the ceramic coated ones instead and get the difference of my money sent back to me. Quite a shame though, I was so stoked to be getting Stainless steel....

Maybe just a full refund and replace this damn clutch of mine! :P

I went ahead and put in for the ceramic instead of stainless. Mine came today and I can't wait to install!

 

i think im just gonna switch to the Ceramic coated header and dp. it keeps in heat just like the ss, just doesnt last forever, right?
