I'd personally like to say that ZZperformance has got to be one of the best vendors on here. Sadly, this group buy didn't go as planned on the stainless steel side, but at least Zooomer manned up, told us that there are problems, and offered a full refund in place of it.

I couldn't have an un-known ETA of this stuff being done, so I was one of the people to ask for the refund. Sure enough, my pay-pal is credited for the full amount.

Do I e-mail customer support through the website? And if so do I just reference the group buy? I'm down with just changing my order to ceramic if there are no concerns with those. Any one can respond with helpful suggestions to this post would be appreciated.

Zoomer any idea at all on how long its going to take. I mean if you were to say August I wouldnt be to upset, December would be bad though.

i didn't want to either, but i will buy a lot of other products from them BECAUSE they handled it this way... un-like another company this name that wouldn't reply to ANYTHING because a group buy went sour

 

Aye, I've very pleased with the service I have received from ZZP. It is unfortunate that the build did not go as planned, but they have been nothing but helpful throughout. I will likely be back to get my other accessories through them.

 

Yea I agree 100%. I love the ZZP setup, it's just sad to see it unfold this way

 

I'll give it a few more days for some updates. I think that is what bothers me most, I haven't wanted to bother zoomer, so I have no idea what is going on.

Does anyone know what has gone wrong with the project?

 

Here's the e-mail I recieved from Zooomer:

"The stainless units are not ready. Catback problems are being investigated and relate to the resonators. We have over 100 out there and working so we're trying to isolate the issue and see why some people are having issues."

That's all I know.

 

Thanks Dude. I think I read on another thread exactly what the problem might be, something about a piece they needed to order.

 

I am going to wait a few more days also, hopefully Zoomer can give some sort of estimate. I wouldnt mind waiting another month or so for the SS Headers/Downpipe. There are none out there close to the group buy price that we got them at. Any where else I price it out, comes out to more than 150 more..........

Still haven't received mine. I'm asking for a refund.

 

I just change my oder to ceramic coated instead of Stainless. I got a refund of 10.00 does that seem right? I think a lot more people would have gone stainless if it was only a 10.00 diff. Correct me if Im wrong but I thought I saw it was a 130.00 difference before discount.

edit: I checked at the site I guess it was only a 10.00 diff, I didn't realize.

 

It probably has something to do with the fact that they send the header off to be ceramic coated.

Is there a guarantee on the ceramic coating finish, for a few years atleast. If there is I will probably just switch over to that also. I know there was a member on here that had trouble with his, but I am sure there are a dozen members who have had no problems.

I just asked for a full refund, minus a K&N Drop in intake and a new set of sparkplugs.


If there was any sort of timeline, I would have possibly waited, but at this point, I decided it was more financially sound to just get my money back. I dont know what problems Zoomer had, but he did handle them admirably for the most part. Just waiting for my confirmation from paypal on the refund.
