Hi guys ,
I have an 07 Cobalt with bad control arms ..want to change them out when it warms up outside. Have a couple of questions for you. First I believe I have fe3 suspension if so when are the compatible suspension parts? FE2 ? Also heard about nightmare stories of some bolt in a "cage" on top of the arm that comes loose, any idea what this is about? Thanks guys any help would be appreciated.

 

Fe3 suspension is compatible with FE5, there is no FE2.

If you have a 2.4 then everything is backwards compatible with the FE5 suspension, you already have the aluminum arms.
