07 LT Brake Information Needed
According to the GM catalog, there are different rotors between the cars that have rear drums and rear disc brakes. Other than the $60 difference in retail price, I cant tell what the difference is. My guess is that the front rotors for the front/rear disc setup are beefier than the front rotors for the disc/drum setup. We only happen to stock the front rotors for the front/rear disc cars so I can't compare them. Chances are you can interchange the two but be aware that if the overall thickness is greater your calipers may not open up far enough to fit over them as the calipers are also different between the two brake systems. They may also be a larger diameter in which case they won't work at all without changing the caliper mounts or knuckles, whatever the calipers bolt to. Sorry I can't say for sure.
So to sum up:
2 different rotor part numbers
2 different caliper numbers
3 different caliper bracket numbers
This may not help at all
Have a nice day
