IS two grand really worth it for larger front disc brakes and a rear conversion kit?

wow thats pricey ... not really worth it imo they dont make you stop any better if the tires you are using cannot grip the road in order to stop

i didnt look but i take it these are slotted and cross drilled... for 2k you can purchase a baer breaking system.... then when you break you will fly right out your windshield !

Converting from drums to discs usually isn't cheap, but 2 grand does seem a bit pricey...

that is a better price. better than gravana last time i looked.... only thing is to convert the rears to disc you need to up the front too so you will need them all at once... correct me if im wrong, but i know most cars work that way... i think theyd look sweet behind my black 18's

The front is already disc...unless you mean to replace the rotors and calipers as well when converting the rear.

The kit is worth it.....although that price doesnt include powdercoating......When calling I would ask the best price they can do it for, because they CAN sell it to you for less, ask to speak with bill caito as he's one of the coolest sales people we have at work.....If not shoot me a PM and Ill see what I can do to help you out. I checked inventory at work tonight and for some reason we have 16 sets of 4 lug cobalt rotors and we haven't sold alot of them so Id say they'd be willing to sell them a bit cheaper.....and they are just slotted and zinc plated, not cross drilled. If he asks anything just tell him Chris from shipping told you.

From what ive been told cross drilled really weakens the rotors so if theyre not thats perfectly fine

Exactly.

I personally have heard nothing but good things about SSBC. Baer is only one name remember. Now I won't say they are the same as Baer brakes, but they are still good nonetheless. So for a full conversion kit, $2000 is not a bad price at all.

So to answer if they are worth it or not, is really up to you.
What do you plan on using your car for?

Show or go?
AutoX or drag?

If it is mainly for looks and a little more street performance, than I think there are cheaper ways to put disk brakes on your car.
