Air ride?
Air ride?
Has anyone bagged the rear of a cobalt on 22's? If so how much if any cutting was done to make them tuck? Thinking bout doing it with 19's up front and 22's out back, shave and suicide the doors.
Although the names both start with a C, it turns out that actually a Chevy Cobalt is a different car than a Cadillac, who knew?!?!?11/?!!?
and I never, ever want to.
besides, I guarantee that 22s will not fit on this car. I've seen 20s and thats REALLY pushing it on this car.

air ride is one thing.... trying to tuck 22s on the ass end of a cobalt is just stupid. getting 22s to tuck on alot of lowriders ,or minitrucks, is a bitch. i can only imagine trying it with a cobalt.
if you are going to do then do 19s up front and just do 20s in the rear. save yourself alot of trouble

Also Im sure you can do 22's on the rear. If an honda civic can do it with air ride im sure an cobalt can do it. It's just dumb retarded ppl on here only like to see their stock rims painted black. To them that's ******* succccc broooo.

there IS someone on here who's laying "frame" from the doors back (coupe). i can't think of his name though.
but to answer your question. cutting WILL have to be done in the rear. heightening the wheel well and widening it inwards or else the wheel will hit the outside quaterpanel. repositioning the airbag to allow for greater drop. other than that its all fab as ya go.

No, I did see that part. Unlike a lot of people on here I do have a real high school diploma and give a crap about people being able to read and understand what I type. I was going along with the post before me where the individual just used the 22" size for a reference. Make sure next time you are dealing with a typical SS.net idiot before criticizing (sp). And like I said before, it would be something different that I would be interested in seeing.

Honestly I dont think it will look right(like most of you) but it is different and it is his car not yours. His question wasnt if it will be accepted or liked. EXsoccer1921 hit it on the head with the only way you may be able to do it... Even though it seems you may need to narrow the rear axle too and extend brake lines, ect...
ahaha your a tool. most of the people on this site are about PERFORMANCE not making their car look like ****. whats wrong with painting rims? it changes the apperance for really cheap. and alot of people get aftermarket rims but they are smart and try to keep it in the 18 size range.
