Air ride?
actually i'm not
yep!
22's will fit i've seen pics, don't know if it was bagged though
Thanks, that's kinda what i was thinking to as far as the cutting goes and maybe narrow the rear, by the way the car in your sig looks great, like that color, have u finished putting it together yet?
I don't know how to post pics but something on this style, some like it, some don't, but "to each his own". I don't too much care for the wheels but other than that I like it.

Although the names both start with a C, it turns out that actually a Chevy Cobalt is a different car than a Cadillac, who knew?!?!?11/?!!?
and I never, ever want to.
besides, I guarantee that 22s will not fit on this car. I've seen 20s and thats REALLY pushing it on this car.

there IS someone on here who's laying "frame" from the doors back (coupe). i can't think of his name though.
but to answer your question. cutting WILL have to be done in the rear. heightening the wheel well and widening it inwards or else the wheel will hit the outside quaterpanel. repositioning the airbag to allow for greater drop. other than that its all fab as ya go.

Dont expect to run a badass lip like the camaro unless you throw a widebody on or seriously narrow the rear axle... My 3" lip barely fit under my rears after I rolled them and these are 17's.

Honestly if he went with 20's up front and 22's in back it may not look too bad but 19's-22's just seem like too much of a stretch to make it look right...
It's his own prerogative if he wants to make a cobalt look like ass, it's his car. Everything has a price though and that means posting these heinous future plans for the car will get you flamed by at least 85% of the cobalt community.
ive driven the car that pops up when you go to cobalt addiction. its air ride on 20s. looks alright and was neat but not my cup of tea. its no wonder why the guy with that wanted to trade for my stock ss/sc. click this link and this is it at the top. neon green and black..
