Alignment only?

I know this has been mentioned before, And I DID search and read the sticky, but the information isnt concrete for me yet.

I have a 2006 SS/SC, If i purchase Eibach sportlines springs and Install them myself, all i need is an alignment once I am done?? No camber kits right?

Also, With the spring and an immediate alignment, Will my tires wear evenly?

Any help would be great! Thanks guys!

no camber kit needed. I just did mine, ( 06 LS ) and only adjusted amber and toe, toe was out due to other reasons though.

UMMMM, i have sportlines on my car now and i have not needed an alignment and everything works great. No uneven wear and no camber kit needed. Everything dropped great. I have stage 2 on my ss/sc as well (not that it has anything to do with anything, lol). Anyway, you should be fine, but you can get an alignment if you want that extra bit of protection.

i installed mine myself and went to get an alignment and it was already perfect.. but your tires should wear perfectly if you had it aligned. no other kit is needed

Yeah, I self installed my Sportlines and my alignment was fine after the drop, no adjustment required.

It will be in your best interest to atleast have the alignment checked after your install. there is almost no 100% chance of not needing an alignment after any type of suspension work. I'm not saying get the alignment done, just have it measured and evaluated to see if there is adjustments needed. Better safe then sorry.

I have personally lowered 5 or 6 Balts and did alignments on all of then and so far, Not one of them has been out of alignment. But, I still do strongly suggest you do it, It couldnt hurt

The rule is get an alignment but not immediately. Let the springs settle for a week or so that way the car is closer to its actual ride height when you get the alignment. Everything should be fine but it may not. Only other way to know is to let your tires get trashed. I know I have a specific advantage because I have access to an alignment machine, but its just good insurance.

The the Eibach Sportlines springs all I need was an alignment. I waited 2 weeks to get the alignment to allow the springs to set in.
