ok so im about to lower my car soon and i was wondering the condition of your struts and please post if they are still in good condition and hte miles on them thanks!

oh and please only vote if your on sportlines( or a similar drop) ex 2frt 2.5 bck

i got mine sittin in the basement got ksport 2"front 2.5"rear i hope the struts holdd up....if not i guess ill be investing insome coilovers lol anyway good thread supscribed

my stock struts are fine.ive been lowere for over a year and am actually sitting 3.5inch drop up front not 2.0.still rides good and handles better

We lowered ours and the struts just don't like it being lowered so it is a rough ride..in other words we are getting better struts...I think u would see a difference too if you got aftermarket struts

Im dropped on Tenzos for about 10000 mi. FE1s are doing just fine. I never even saw a decrease in comfort but the handling is ridiculously better. Definitely drop on the springs of your choice, wait for your stockers to blow, then move up to some Konis.

From my experience and what I have seen on here is that it takes quite a while for even the FE1 setup to fail...unless you drive like a total peenos.

Test it by puting al your wieght very quickly over the wheel on the body, get off asap and see how much it bounces, 2 bounces or less and your fine, any more blown shocks/struts. Also for the front when highway driving when you hit a small drop or bump your front will just keep bouncing for a few seconds while going down the highway.

Oh yeah 4kmiles and will be cutting the fronts pretty soon... dropped on tenzor's

i had spring tech lowerin springs on my 2.2 after about 30k miles the struts were shot.

my 2.4 on the other hand has been about 24k and still like new
