Got it done under 1 hr but again thats with air guns/ratchets. Its not too bad with hand tools if you have the muscle, the hardest thing will be the two on the front strut housing holding it to the spindle. Be carefull with the strut tower nuts, i snapped one of the studs and i know several others have two. A new mount from the dealer was $75 bones . And your struts should be fine since the SS's came with gas struts they will last a big longer lowered then the 2.2's.
How long approx. will the struts last though with the Sportlines on compared to the stock springs?

Well it really is hard to say, some will last longer then others due to different driving styles, road conditions, etc but you should get a good 40,000+ miles if not more on the sportlines with stock struts. With stock springs they will last 100,000+ since that is what they are designed for.

Does anyone have the Koni Struts? They seem to be a good choice from what I've read up on.

Looks like I'll just wait until school starts. Our shop has a lift, spring compressor, air line, and a bunch of air tools. Oh... and an ASE Master certified teacher. lol Auto shop ftw!

it wasn't hard at all! installed mine today still waiting on an alignment well worth every penny i paid for them! like stated above it is much easier with air tools and a GOOD spring compressor, i have a good friend that owns a body shop and he has a nice one he let me use, made things much easier, Sportlines FTW!!!!!
