I don't know in which section to put this but anyways.

I got a noise coming from the front wheel when hitting holes, something like tok tok

I lifted the car today to see what was going on and I can't find anything loose on the suspension components... so I quickly checked the axles and they seem to be moving from left to right when I try to move them... they do make a tok tok noise.

The question is, how to be sure the problem is coming from the axles and not the transmission/differential ?

Has anyone experienced this problem
