Base 4-lug to SS 5 lug

Does anyone know off hand how difficult (or even if its possible) to switch from a Base/LS cobalt 4 lug pattern to the 5 lug pattern that comes on the SS and SS/SC?

WTF would you want to do that? our lug patern is horrible when it comes to finding rims, dont do it man dont do it!

And yes it would not be cost effective IMO.

Switch to a pattern that is 10000x harder to find rims for? Wow would I not do that.

How?

My Civic is 4x100, with that and every other car I've owned/own presently I've never broken one. Are you tightening them to 900 ft/lbs or what?

use a torque wrench and you won't have to worry about it.... It's more important than you think to have them torqued to spec. If you overtightened them of course they sheered off.

^^ They can actually get really expensive for very accurate ones... I bought mine for $30 at Autozone and it has lasted me for about 4 years now, and I assume it's fairly good...

Snap on has a $350 electric on thats petty sweet, it vibrates when its close then it will beep to tell you that you're there. then you can check out the LCD screen to see exactly what you torqued it to.

Aside from the wheel options, I was really more interested in switching from rear drum to rear disc at the same time..
