Some people are having some trouble with the rotors getting eaten really quick because GM apperantly used too hard of a brake pad.

I haven't had any problems with grinding or pulling... but definately vibration.... go have the brakes checked at the dealer, they'll probably need to resurface your rotors.

Do you have any rust on your rotors? Sometimes they can make noise when the rust is grinding off on the first couple uses of the brakes.

Mine grinds like crazy when it's cold and mostly when backing up, one also squeaks and squeals. Seems like the problem is mostly in the right rear. I've got a long list for my dealer to look at, and brakes are on there.

hard pads last longer but dont stop the car as well, soft pads wear alot faster but stop the car much better. gm most likely used soft pads. i think you got it backwords.
