Which is the better strut brace?

AEM or DC Sports?

I want one for my wife's 2003 Sunfire and one for my 2007 Cobalt LS.
Both look exactly the same, and yet the DC Sports says it could be made from steel or titanium, which is dumb since they are the ones that supposed to know their product.

Anyways, I need these as I have a 3 month old baby and want better handling.
I have used strut braces in the past on a few cars and they all helped reduce the feeling of being pulled and pushed around in the seat.

I am also looking into stainless steel brake lines and possibly a set of front and back frame supports or sway bars, I want a rigid ride. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance...

I never even seen the AEM. I have the DC Sport and it works great. I did notice a difference, a good change in the way it handled in turns. I know the DC Sport is lighter weight then the JBP JPB? However the JBP or JPB is stronger and more expensive.

the key to make really fit the mrz one up right is jack your car up just so the front tires are off the ground a hair then ajust the strut bar and tighten it up that is the real way to do it.

well because the car is a uni body it will settle with time. its actualy good practice to jack your car up in the center of the front underbody brace then put the brace on. then the brace is actually doing something.. you dont have to but its what they do on alot of the other cars that are una body

then why did you buy the bar? what is the purpose? .. the brace goes between the 2 strut towers witch are part of the unibody. the car sit over time. the strut towers will slowly move/ warp inward. its a natural effect. if you jack the car up you countering this force that is beign placed inward and upward on the strut towers. then you install the bar witch will actualy be snugged up in a proper fashion.

"A strut bar is designed to reduce this strut tower flex by tying two parallel strut towers together. This transmits the load of each strut tower during cornering via tension and compression of the strut bar which shares the load between both towers and reduces chassis flex."

u answered my question and made your self look like an idiot.. it has everything to do with a unibody

FYI: You know when you install the strut bar you want to snug it up not make it really tight, you want it to have a little play not too tight. Jacking ur car up and crank on it or whatever you were trying to accomplish isn't right either.

well AEM produces the DC product. I have one and it is great although there is a mrz one and the only difference is preference shinny or not so up to you.

the MRZ is a hell of a lot stronger than the DC bar.
