Beware of your Brakes!!!!!

I pulled my front calipers off the car tonight and the driver's side outer brake pad had split in two!!! The brake pad had slid down and was rubbing the neck of the rotor, causing irregular wear and irregular braking I am sure. Be forewarned!!!! Check your car out, you don't have to pull the caliper just look at it. Better safe than sorry!


You can see the uneven wear of the pad in this picture.

hmm maybe that my current problem it feels like a warped rotor to mee but who knows ill have to look thatnks for a heads up

The glue holding the pad to the backing plate let go. Common occurance on any car actually. Normally, the worst thing that happens is you score the rotor.

well i can imagine scoring the rotor wouldnt be that good of a thing to happen..

pat, are you sticking with the stock pads? or are you gonna do EBC or something along those lines
