Brake fitting sizes

I am thinking about making a custom brake line kit for my buddys Cobalt but I'm not sure on what size fittings are on the car for the brake hoses. Does anybody happen to know what they are?

Every one Ive worked on they are 10 x 1.0, apprently some people have claimer their cars were built with 3/8 x 24, only way to tell is to measure or try a set of known fittings. 3/8 x 24 will thread into 10 x 1.0 without binding, it will be loose though, and unsafe.

I have made that mistake before, it will thread in for a few threads but then after that it's done for, at least when I made that mistake.

I will inspect the fittings whenever I get around to putting the brakes on it whenever he gets them ordered.

Thanks for the info.
